ABOUT

Aloha! I am a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) in the state of Hawaii and hold clinical competence from the American Speech-language Hearing Association (ASHA). I received my master’s degree in speech pathology from California State University-East Bay (2014) and undergraduate degree in inter-cultural studies from Trinity Western University in BC, Canada (2007). I have worked with young children through adults in a variety of settings, including pediatric outpatient clinics, public schools, as well in outpatient and inpatient medical settings.

I am passionate about meeting you or your child where you are on your communication journey, and helping you discover the way forward.

I believe: 

• You belong, and that your ability to communicate and connect with others matters deeply. 

• Beginnings are important. It takes courage to start a journey. You are ready.

• “Being you” is a central driving force in your therapy. Sessions are uniquely shaped to your goals, abilities, and individual differences. I do not use a one-size-fits-all model; rather, I value your preferences and your insight in our ongoing relationship.

I have a thirst for knowledge and continue to stay up to date with current research and evidence-based practices. I am Hanen Certified in the More Than Words parent coaching program, and have completed the DIR/Floortime Advanced Certification course.
